FITNESS CONSULTATION
A Fitness Consultation is a meeting between an Abundant
Life Health & Fitness Personal Trainer and a potential client
that is typically conducted via telephone. During the
consultation, one of our trainers will speak with you, without
obligation, to determine which of our many fitness services
will best suit your needs. We will review each product or
service, assess your needs and goals, answer any
questions you may have, and if desired, begin implementing

PROGRAM DESIGN
A fitness program created by an Abundant Life Personal Trainer is uniquely
designed for each client. We design our programs based upon each
client's individual goals (i.e, weight loss, stress reduction, strength gain,
sport performance, balance improvements, etc.). We take into
consideration how much time you have to exercise, any equipment you
may already have, the gym you work out in... and the list goes on! No gym
or equipment? No problem! We can design a program utilizing little or no
equipment, or by simply using common household items. Regardless of the
modality of the exercise, you'll still get an amazing workout with excellent
results! Let us design an affordable fitness program that works for you!
PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION
General
A personal training session is a one-on-one exercise session with a
trainer coaching a single client. A personal training session lasts
one hour, and usually begins with warm-up exercises such as
walking, jogging, in place, etc. (as deemed appropriate for your
fitness level and dictated by your program design). Activities
following the warm-up vary according to your fitness level and
personal fitness goals. For example, cardio exercises might
incorporate anything from salsa dancing to jump rope, or anything in
between! There's no limitations to the fun and creative ways to
exercise! (And don't worry... we'll ask you all about your activity and
equipment preferences & dislikes during your initial consultation!)
That's what makes the Abundant Life personal training experience
so unique... there's no "cookie-cutter" approach to your exercise
sessions, and you'll never be bored! All personal training sessions
are designed only with you and your individual goals in mind!
NUTRITIONAL PLANNING
No fitness program is complete without a healthy nutritional plan!
Personal Trainers are not nutritionists or dieticians, but most are
educated about the basics of healthy eating for balanced nutrition and
overall health and well-being. Our Nutritional Planning service begins
with an introduction to the FDA's new Food Guide Pyramid, where
clients learn the basics of food groups, eating a balanced diet, and meal
planning. You will also learn to understand nutrition facts, portion sizes,
how to read a food label, grocery shopping tips, and much more!
Coming Soon... 3-DAY DIET ANALYSIS!
Your Abundant Life Personal Trainer can also conduct a 3-Day Diet
Analysis. The purpose of this in-depth analysis is to help you objectively
evaluate what you are eating, then calculate your total daily nutrient
intake. Your trainer will then be able to make more informed
recommendations regarding dietary requirements and can assist you
with creating and implementing a realistic, healthy eating plan for
weight loss, muscle building, endurance training or just good old
healthy living! We can create a plan that will work for you. This service
will be coming soon!

Abundant Life Training Session*
Abundant Life trainers typically train with a client for 1-2 initial sessions.
Once we are satisfied that you can perform the prescribed exercises
correctly and safely, your trainer will only train with you periodically to
ensure that you are still executing the exercises properly, to check your
progress, or to add/change exercises as needed. You will be given a
personalized program manual containing all the exercises and fitness
information needed to work out independently. And of course, your
trainer is always available by telephone or email if help or additional
information is needed! And, depending on your budget and fitness
needs/goals, additional training sessions can always be purchased
separately. Our goal is to teach you enough about exercise and fitness
so that eventually, you'll no longer need our services!
